This will be the audience profile we are attempting to appeal to the most as we are hoping to explore and use a song from the Hip-Hop/ RnB music genre.
Obvious improvements i need to make to my music video would be to complete all of my shots and work on my editing to synchronize the visuals to my audio so that lips syncing is an effective element in this video. As well as this we have received feedback to experiment more with editing and Premier Pro in terms of filters. In terms of our setting we decided to get rid of our setting of a forest/ wood like environment and use one that was a house space. To insinuate this we have decided to go with a room with a modern theme and then include items which are like a studio which will have Ben (Distinct) talking into a microphone and recording his song into the microphone. We believe as a group that because we have resulted to this we are meeting conventions and expectations of our genre more effectively. We have also decided to introduce a vocal artist to our video to perform the chorus. The only place they will appear with be the choruses of the song in video and be set in the White ...
Our group (Consisting of myself Isabel Denney-Foster, Ben Field, Frank Parnell) have decided we will be working on this song for our music video. We chose this song because it will be easy to match the lyrics to the visuals in the video. This will help to give us the opportunity to include disjuncture, amplification and illustration into our video once we have began our pending arrangements. The beat also works in our favor as it isn't too fast. Therefore following a narrative/ story line wouldn't be too difficult or actually necessary and we would not feel required to follow any form of an action sequence.
I have tried to correspond my draft cover to my inspiration Marisa Nadler's cover for Strangers. I have done this by including the borders and the artist information. I have differed from the inspiration through applying two borders and a bar code. The use of the black and white is a pure coincidence as I had planned to use black an white before but I believe that the borders could only work with a black an white colour scheme, in my opinion, for my artist.
