Music Video Draft 2

This is our version of our music video which we edited as a group. We used our class feedback to gather the correct and most effective shots, and used experimentation to achieve artistic shots. I believe that this version of our video shows a significant improvement to our first understandings and attempts at a product of the Hip Hop genre. We, as a group, believe there is still room for small elements of improvement. We believe we could attempt to add more shots of our chorus artist Joel. And we believe we could edit where we have chosen to add our Black and White filters.

We edited most of our final video at Ben Field's house however our draft videos were edited individually at school. I believe that when we edited as a group it was more successful and we were able to discus how to conform to the genre more in depth. Both scenarios of making our draft and our final piece we used Adobe Premier Pro.

Gorilla vs Bear Whilst visiting this site I came across a review for an album (Alice Boman "Dreams") The article was presented as the album's cover which really appealed to me aesthetically. I have decided to save this and use it as an inspiration for my album cover at least as an experimental factor however I am not sure if it will fit in with my genre.
Our choice of song

Our group (Consisting of myself Isabel Denney-Foster, Ben Field, Frank Parnell) have decided we will be working on this song for our music video. We chose this song because it will be easy to match the lyrics to the visuals in the video. This will help to give us the opportunity to include disjuncture, amplification and illustration into our video once we have began our pending arrangements. The beat also works in our favor as it isn't too fast. Therefore following a narrative/ story line wouldn't be too difficult or actually necessary and we would not feel required to follow any form of an action sequence.
