Lucidious is a fairly unknown artist of the  Hip-hop and rap genre with his three most popular  Albums being  Torn Between Pages, Vol. I: Make It Out Alive (13th September 2013) including songs such as Save Me, No Longer Silent and Do The Talking. His previous album Reflections (20th December 2015) included the songs 808 ft. Mellow, Let It Rain ft. GJR and Your Life. He has not been in the industry for a long time and he is fairly new and fresh is his genre of music.  His online website is used to promote his newest albums, songs and merchandise. He hasn't gotten the reception, he would expect, from other artists of the genre have so isn't as popular or well known.Because of his niche audience and relatively unknown we believe his music is mostly listened to through platforms such as his spotify account and his  LucidiousMusic  YouTube profile.

Distinct (born 10th December 1994 as Daniel William Ink) is an American Rapper and songwriter. Daniel was signed into Interscope Records in 2010 and took the stage name Distinct in 2013. Distinct’s first single, ‘Success’ as a part of his first album ‘The Essential Introduction’, was released 13 th April 2015 and sold 850,000 copies in America. This single reached Number 3 in the US Billboard Hot 100. The Essential Introduction also featured Eminem and Logic in the track ‘Best Friend’. Distinct’s latest release, ‘Moment of Silence’ from his new album ‘Judicial Independence’, was released 6 th September 2018 and reached Number 1 within 2 days of release. 

Our group (Consisting of myself Isabel Denney-Foster, Ben Field, Frank Parnell) have decided we will be working on this song for our music video.  We chose this song because it will be easy to match the lyrics to the visuals in the video. This will help to give us the opportunity to include disjuncture, amplification and illustration into our video once we have began our pending arrangements. The beat also works in our favor as it isn't too fast. Therefore following a narrative/ story line wouldn't be too difficult or actually necessary and we would not feel required to follow any form of an action sequence.
