The tone and atmosphere of the visuals reflects that of the music. (either illustrative, amplifying or contradicting) The demands of record label will include the need for lots of close ups of the artist and the artist may develop motifs which recur across their work (a visual style). There is frequent reference to notion of looking (screens within screens, mirrors, stages, etc) and particularly voyeuristic treatment of female body. The artist may develop motifs or iconography that recur across their work (a visual style). There are often intertexual reference (to films, TV programs, other music videos etc).
Good name for an artist in Hip-Hop. Performance fits with the genre. If the locations are accessible then it can be pulled off well.

ReplyDeleteThis idea really fits the genre you are aiming for and will look effective. I personally really like the idea of using the projector as I feel it will look very interesting and engaging for audiences.
